Taair
SSTop 20 · RefinedPure support god: NRG batteries, SPD/ATK buffs, heals, and Caged Reverie damage-share for high-difficulty survival. Zero personal damage—and that is the point.

Player notes
Taair is a Legendary Watcher tagged with Iria. In practical terms they cover healing, Act Again, and battery / buff enable. Pure support god: NRG batteries, SPD/ATK buffs, heals, and Caged Reverie damage-share for high-difficulty survival. Zero personal damage—and that is the point.
Never build him for damage. Sequence: keep carries topped on NRG with Inner Light / Thousand-Mile Echo, spread Seed of Wisdom SPD/Meditation before big turns, and pre-cast Caged Reverie before lethal enemy AoEs. Trait increases support range and adds heal-on-support—stand one tile farther back than you think.
In the role triangle, lean on free damage into Destroyers. Stars and gear still matter more than matchup alone on hard maps.
Star plan on this page (“3★–5★ if he is your main battery — always worth the shards”) is a budgeting hint: finish the first power spike that stabilizes clears, then reassess against your enabler and main carry before dumping every shard here.

Taair deep guide
Overview
Taair is the DoT / sustain-pressure Destroyer many mid-game accounts lean on. Long fights and bosses reward infection-style chip more than one-shot openers.
He pairs naturally with battery Watchers and other multi-turn cores (SP Inanna, Inanna, Kvare-style kits).
Openers
- Apply primary DoT/infection skill before the enemy turn when possible.
- Spread chips across high-HP targets rather than overkilling trash.
- Protect him from Seekers—Destroyers hate getting jumped.
- Use Act Again enables to double-stack DoTs in one round.
Mid-fight
Bosses: keep DoTs rolling every cycle; do not sit on max NRG. Wave maps: still useful but Camelot/SP Samantha may clear faster. Watcher matchup is his soft spot—bring physical backup.
Investment
Medium-high for account diversity. Plague Wand / magic weapons and NRG trinkets help. Stars improve DoT uptime and survivability.
Sample teams
Pitfalls
- Expecting Col-level assassination on turn 1.
- Running him into Watcher-heavy enemy packs without a physical flex.
When to skip
Skip early if your content dies to pure burst teams already. Add him when stalls appear.
From the editor's clears
When burst fails, infection boards still win—Taair is who I add the day a boss stops dying in two cycles.

Star priority: 3★–5★ if he is your main battery — always worth the shards
Gear deep dive
- Weapon — Staff of Iria: Classic Iria support staff for heal/buff Watchers. Prefer it when pure heal/buff Watchers prioritizing uptime over personal damage.
- Trinket — NRG Battery Charm: NRG comfort for skill-hungry supports. Best when skill-hungry supports and casters who brick without NRG.
- Tarot — The Sun: Sustain tarot for pure supports. Take it for pure supports focused on team longevity.

Team plan
Build the party around Taair as the enabler: one primary DPS (Seeker/Breaker/Destroyer), one frontline Defender, then flex for matchups or faction auras (Iria). Feed Act Again and NRG into the carry first.
- Open with Caged Reverie when the board allows a clean cast.
- Keep reaction (Protective Insight) online—do not strip it for vanity actives mid-fight.
- Basic attack (Energy Wave) is for reposition turns or when NRG is dry.
- Spend the first enable on your invested carry, not a half-built flex unit.
Skill table
Priority stars are SoC Wiki recommendations for general PvE. NRG/CD values are approximate guide bands—confirm in-game for patches.
| Skill | Type | NRG | CD | Priority | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Caged Reverie | Active | 2–3 | 7 | ★★★★★ | Long-CD damage share aura — high-difficulty staple Creates a powerful area that shares damage taken, increases damage dealt, and recovers HP. Long CD means you plan the enemy lethal turn in advance. |
| Thousand-Mile Echo | Active | 2 | 2 | ★★★★★ | Restores 4 NRG + ATK/Move/SPD II on one ally Single-target rocket fuel for your hypercarry. Use the turn before they dump their expensive skill rotation. |
| Inner Light | Active | Instant | varies | ★★★★★ | Instant multi-ally NRG in a 3-tile AoE (includes self) Best general NRG tool for multi-spend teams. Instant tag means it does not eat your full turn the same way a standard active does. |
| Seed of Wisdom | Active | 2 | 2 | ★★★★★ | AoE cleanse + SPD II + Meditation Dispel a debuff from allies near the target and hand SPD/Meditation. Great before multi-action turns. |
| Healing Spell | Active | 1 | — | ★★★★★ | 100% M.ATK heal + 1 debuff dispel Cheap stable heal. Trait can further boost healing when casting supports. |
| Energy Wave | Basic | 0 | — | ★★★★★ | 80% magical basic — filler only You almost never want to basic if a support skill is available. Keep for dead turns only. |
