Player notes
SP Faycal is a Legendary Defender tagged with Iria, Elaman, SoC. In practical terms they cover frontline soak, cover, and zone control. Upgraded Faycal kit with higher ST ceiling for Alacrity assassin comps.
Build fully into crit and multi-action; use as primary assassin when invested.
In the role triangle, lean on free damage into Seekers and respect Breakers. Stars and gear still matter more than matchup alone on hard maps.
Star plan on this page (“See guide”) is a budgeting hint: finish the first power spike that stabilizes clears, then reassess against your enabler and main carry before dumping every shard here.

SP Faycal deep guide
Overview
SP Faycal is a premium SP-style upgrade path unit—strong identity skills and high ceiling when you invest. Treat SP kits as ‘account projects’: they want stars and a coherent team, not benchwarming at 0★ forever.
If base Faycal synergy exists in client routing, owning both can unlock cleaner SP skill access—check your skill tree before locking builds.
Openers
- Open with the SP identity skill that defines the kit (see skill table).
- Hold the expensive finisher for the turn kill thresholds are real.
- Use role matchup to pick free damage.
- Enable him only when NRG supports two real skills.
Mid-fight
SP units often spike mid-game hard content. If he is your best role-mate for a hole (e.g. missing Breaker/Seeker), promote him. Otherwise keep him as a sidegrade to Col/Camelot.
Investment
High once you commit—SP kits punish half-investment. Gear with recommended weapon first; stars before random cosmetics.
Sample teams
Pitfalls
- Leaving him at very low stars and comparing to 5★ Col.
- No tank—SP carries still die.
When to skip
Skip if the SP banner was a spook and you lack resources for a third project carry.

Gear deep dive
- Weapon — Newborn Blade: Flexible physical blade for general Seekers and Breakers. Prefer it when default physical weapon when signatures are missing — highest build count in the DB.
- Trinket — Focus Lens: Crit lens for physical carries mid-game. Best when universal crit budget piece — highest build count in the DB.
- Tarot — Temperance: Balanced mid-game tarot for flexible builds. Take it for flexible mid-game tarot when bis is missing — very high build count.

Team plan
Park SP Faycal on the contested tile or choke, pair with a Watcher battery and at least one damage role that covers their weak matchup. Do not stack pure tanks without a kill threat.
- Open with Arrowstorm when the board allows a clean cast.
- Keep reaction (Strength Activation) online—do not strip it for vanity actives mid-fight.
- Basic attack (Charged Attack) is for reposition turns or when NRG is dry.
